Progressive Conservative Leader John Tory says there is no reason creationism couldn't be taught alongside evolution and “other theories” if private religious schools are brought into Ontario's public school boards.

Party insiders are now reporting that it can only be taught in religion class if schools are to receieve state funding. It cannot be taught in science class if the school wishes to receive funding. That being said, the damage could already be done for Tory.
