Husband / Wife Team Running for Different Parties
Former NDP MP and MPP Ian Deans has come out of retirement to run in the next Federal election for the New Democrats in Brant. His wife, Diane Deans, an Ottawa City Councillor is running for the Liberal nomination in the provincial riding of Ottawa Centre. Husband - Wife teams certainly aren't new, the Grewals and Jack & Olivia come to mind immediately. But I have never heard of a husband - wife team running for different parties... must make for interesting conversation.

Or lack of conversation.... would you really want to share your marks with the candidate when they live with the rival candidate? Or anything else for that matter?
