Socialist Realism




This Polish socialist realist poster from 1955 reads: "For You Fatherland, our young hearts beat".

A colleague of mine noted that it also represents the coming together of industrial and agricultural workers. He said the guy standing in the back with the blank expression on his face was probably from the party - there to ensure that the workers were smiling. ;-)
