Gerard Kennedy is running in the next federal election in his former provincial riding of
Parkdale-High Park, currently represented by NDP MP Peggy Nash. Nash is my favourite new NDP MP, but the unpopularity of the local Liberal incumbent was a big part of her
victory in 2006. Kennedy was an
incredibly popular MPP for the riding. Nash is in for the fight of her life.
